German sportdigital launches at Digiturk
German sports channel sportdigital has expanded its reach by launching on Turkish subscription platform Digiturk in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as the first and only German sports channel.
Distribution is in HD quality via IPTV, internet and mobile TV. The channel is integrated into the family package (from €9.99 per month) and into the sports package (from €22 per month).
“Through the partnership with Digiturk, we have the possibility to make our channel familiar with the large Turkish community in Germany and to grow our fan base. Like our programmes, our target group will now also become more international,” sportdigital CEO Gisbert Wundram said in Hamburg.
