Rentrak signs up NBC affiliate in Toledo

Television measurement firm Rentrak has signed a StationView Essentials contract with Barrington Broadcasting to add its NBC-affiliate station, WNWO in Toledo, Ohio, to provide ratings information.
"Across the country, and especially in markets like Toledo, Rentrak is the only place to find ratings for the Olympics, because no other service provides the advanced level of TV measurement and information at such a granular and local level," said Chris Topf, president and CEO of WNWO. "Having access to Rentrak's StationView Essentials ratings every day of the year, and not just during 'sweeps months,' will provide WNWO with a competitive advantage in Toledo."
Rentrak now has almost 200 TV stations using its advanced demographic currency for their sales, programming, news and promotions. "Our continually expanding client roster is clear evidence of the marketplace appetite for what Rentrak offers to local broadcasters, agency and direct clients," said Cathy Hetzel, corporate president and president of advanced media and information at Rentrak.
