Yahoo! launches sports app for Apple TV 4 Michelle Clancy

Apple TV 2 Yahoo Sports has launched a free app for the Apple TV 4 online video platform, offering personalised sports news, highlights and live games
Users can select their favourite teams through a simple one-time setup and from then on, will receive a personalised sports playlist of top highlights from the chosen teams and the top stories across sports.
At launch, the app provides recent news and highlights from MLB, NHL, NBA, PGA and some of the top soccer leagues from around the world. Original content from the Yahoo Sports editorial team will include The Vertical with Woj, Instant Reactions, Sports Dash and Power Rankings.
Users will also have access to Yahoo Sports’ full slate of live streaming options including the MLB Free Game of the Day.
“This is just the beginning as we’ll be releasing new features for the Yahoo Sports app on Apple TV 4 in the coming months,” said Roger Urrabazo, director software development engineer at Yahoo. “In the meantime, sit back, relax and enjoy all the action of your favourite teams.”
The Yahoo Sports app for Apple TV 4 is available for download through the Apple TV 4 App Store.
