My.TV brings Premier League to Mauritian viewers

Mauritius Telecom’s IPTV service My.TV will be broadcasting coverage of the forthcoming English Premier League season, following a deal with SFR.

premier leagueLive action from England’s top tier of football, which begins again later this month, will be available on My.TV via SFR Sport 1, which will show all 380 Premier League matches.

Also available as part of the IPTV service’s new sports pack, are: SFR Sports 2, showing various sports programming including volleyball, basketball, rugby and tennis; SFR Sport 3 with extreme sports such as skateboarding, roller skating, air race, freestyle skiing, kite surfing and freestyle motocross; SFR Sport 5 will air combat sports and martial arts; while BFM Sports will carry sports news.

“One of the five priorities of Mauritius Telecom is the creation of added value for customers. The Sports Pack which enriches the my.t content, reflects this priority,” said Sherry Singh, CEO, Mauritius Telecom.

The monthly subscription fee is MUR 499 (US$14.14) and all five channels will also be available as a catch-up service.
