Fox International nabs 96 Emmy nominations

FOX International Channels (FIC) has scored a total of 96 nominations for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards, garnered by shows carried on six channels.
The nominations include categories such as Outstanding Comedy Series (Modern Family, Louie), Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series (Ray Donovan, Mad Men), and Outstanding Drama Series (Homeland).
Twenty-nine pay-TV shows on FOX, FX, FOX Crime, StarWorld, National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild received Emmy nominations in various categories, ranging from the outstanding show cast to behind-the-scenes work. American Horror Story: Freak Show on FX clinched 19 nominations in categories, including Outstanding Limited Series and Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Series Or A Movie (Jessica Lange).
Mad Men snagged 11 Emmy nominations, followed by the FOX Crime series American Crime with 10 nominations. FX received an incredible 55 nominations, with FOX coming in second for its 17 nominations, FOX Crime (10 nominations), Star World (10 nominations), National Geographic Channel (3 nominations) and Nat Geo Wild (1 nomination) respectively.
The nominations for this year’s 67th Primetime Emmy Awards were announced by presenters Uzo Aduba and Cat Deeley at the SilverScreen Theater of the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, California.
