US Spanish-language networks Telemundo and NBC Universo will be telecasting live 17 Liga MX matches for football fans across the country, from 25 July to 21 November. Both networks are exclusively airing the home games for Leon and Pachuca.
The Apertura 2015 tournament schedule on the networks includes 15 Saturday night games, plus two special weekday matches at Estadio Leon.
Providing commentary for many of the Leon and Pachuca home matches will be sportscaster Andres Cantor, along with veteran soccer expert Sammy Sadovnik, Copan Alvarez, and former Mexican national team forward Carlos Hermosillo. The reporter Kaziro Aoyama will be scrutinising the action on the field.
All 17 matches will be telecast or simulcast live on NBC Universo and each of the Saturday night games during September will be also broadcast on Telemundo until October when NBC UNIVERSO becomes the exclusive US television home for the remaining matches.
Every game will also be available on nbcuniverso.com/live, the NBC Universo Now app, NBCDeportes.com and the NBC Deportes EN VIVO EXTRA mobile app.
The Mexican football programming fits into NBC Universo's new sports line-up, which debuted in May and broadcasts refreshed shows and new content for Hispanic fans.
