OSN launches iPad guide with remote record

A new digital TV guide has been introduced by Middle East pay-TV operator OSN, allowing viewers to record their favourite shows remotely, watch trailers and check programme times.
The iPad app, which follows the launch of OSN’s TV everywhere platform OSN Play on Android, also provides programme reminders, and a share facility for Facebook, Twitter and email users.
“The OSN TV Guide iPad app takes customer engagement to a new level by not only allowing subscribers to remotely review our programming schedule but also share what they are watching with friends via social media,” said David Butorac, CEO, OSN.
The free app is available from the Apple App Store in English. An Arabic version will soon follow, says the operator.
