Indian over-the-top (OTT) video service Lukup Media has teamed up with Eurochannel to provide subscribers with a host of European films and TV programming.
On-demand access to Eurochannel, which will carry 15 new movies every month in India, will cost Lukup subscribers INR150 per month.
"We are excited to bring a selection of outstanding cinema from across Europe in partnership with Eurochannel on the Lukup Media platform. This partnership aligns with our objective of bringing international content and TV channels to Indian audiences and to present them with more choice of content," said Kallol Borah, founder and CEO, Lukup Media.
Gustavo Vainstein, CEO, Eurochannel, added: "Our partnership with Lukup has proved indispensible for this recent launch, as we share the same vigour and collaborative spirit to bring quality entertainment to millions of residents throughout the country on a practical platform. Together, Lukup and Eurochannel will offer the best of European cinema."
Lukup Media, which currently delivers video-on-demand (VOD) content to TVs and other connected devices via its Lukup Player OTT platform, also plans to add linear TV channels and Internet access to the service through a single connection.
