Dubai-based online video company ICFLIX has teamed up with Telecom Egypt's Internet arm, TE Data, to provide its subscription streaming service across Egypt.
Providing movies from the Arab world, Hollywood and Bollywood, as well as TV shows and documentaries, the video-on-demand (VOD) service will now be available on a month's free trial basis via TE Data's network.
"Our partnership will offer TE Data customers across Egypt a new avenue of viewing choice. This is great news for those who enjoy watching movies and TV series on demand," said Carlos Tibi, CEO and founder at ICFLIX.
"As part of this Ramadan offering, TE Data customers will be able to watch exclusively season one of the highly anticipated fictional TV series, Alf Leila we Leila (1001 Nights) and WeshTany amongst the wide range of content available from ICFLIX," he added.
Since ICFLIX launched across the Middle East and North Africa in 2012, it has expanded from its UAE headquarters to offices in Morocco, Egypt and Czech Republic, and launched a joint video streaming service in Pakistan with Pakistan Telecommunications Company Ltd (PTCL).
