Orange TV tops 100,000 subs in Spain

A year after re-launching its IPTV platform with more channels and multimedia services, as well as improving its triple- and quad-play offers, Orange TV exceeded the 100,000 subs mark in Spain for the first time since it launched in the country in 2006.
orangetv2According to figures published by Europa Press, Orange's customer base has grown by 25% since 2013.
Last year, the French telco re-launched the pay-TV service with new channels, new devices as well as smart TV features. In addition, it has been delivering TV everywhere services to its mobile customers since October.
The service includes 33 networks, many of which are in HD, including Fox, AXN, Calle 13, TNT, Paramount Comedy, Syfy, Fox Crime, Cosmo, National Geographic and BBC World. In addition, Orange TV offers a catch-up service which allows users to watch any programme on demand 15 days after its broadcast, and a video-on-demand (VOD) library with over 1,200 films and series, including The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory and Black Mirror.
