Brazil's TV4ISP has announced an agreement with Media Networks to provide pay-TV solutions for Brazilian Internet providers. Telefónica's business-to-business (B2B) unit will integrate its satellite TV (direct-to-home) and Go Digital services in TV4ISP's platform.
The Brazilian pay-TV market has been growing rapidly lately, opening new business opportunities for other Latin American operators. "The deal with TV4ISP makes Media Networks able to meet properly the new demands, improving the access of new players to the market," explained Leandro Gaunszer, commercial director at the Telefonica unit.
"Dealing with Media Networks gives security to our solution for Internet providers. It's essential to offer our own pay-TV brand when competing in a market such as Brazil," added Lucas Gonçalves de Araújo, commercial director at TV4ISP. The company has been working on the project since 2012, focusing on bringing its product closer to meeting market demands.
TV4ISP is a pay-TV package provider which has been working in a testing phase and intends to launch its definitive commercial version next month. The company offers private label solutions to Internet and pay-TV operators worldwide.
