Kids programming distributor and brand manager PGS Entertainment has signed an exclusive, first-look three-year deal with animation producer Zagtoon.
The first project under the terms of the new partnership will be the distribution of 39 x 26' episodes of the live action/animated series Ghostforce. It tells the story of a New York City chemistry teacher who develops a technology capable of capturing and storing ghosts who are terrorising the locals.
PGS and Zagtoon previously worked together on the launch of Ladybug, a new 26 x 26 CGI animated series produced in collaboration with Disney, TF1, TOEI Animation, Method Animation and Bandai, which was successfully introduced to the international market at MIPCOM 2013.
"Back from our successful launch of Ladybug at MIP Jr, it made sense to build a more strategic partnership with Jeremy Zag and Jacqueline Tordjman for the future. Their upcoming line-up is truly ground-breaking and will change the future of kids' entertainment," Philippe Soutter, president of PGS commented.
