Fox hands US blockbusters out to Mediaset

Mediaset has inked a major content agreement with 20th Century Fox Television Distribution, which will see 50 recent US movies premiere free-to-air (FTA) in Spain.


fox mediaset peliculasThe agreement covers genres including animation, action films, horror and spy movies. Set to air in the coming months on Mediaset’s FTA channels in Spain, films include Ice Age 5, Independence Day 2, Kingsman, Hitman: Agent 47, The Martian, The Peanuts Movie, The Book of Life and Kung Fu Panda 3.

This distribution deal joins other major content agreements recently inked by Mediaset, such as the one with Disney prior to the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
