ProSieben Fun HD to join Sky Deutschland

German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will add subscription channel ProSieben Fun HD to its line-up on 14 January 2014. DTH satellite customers in Germany and Austria will be able to receive the service in basic package Sky Welt on Astra (19.2° East).
Selected programmes will also be offered on-demand on the additional services Sky Anytime and Sky Go. ProSieben Fun will not be carried by Sky in standard definition.
At the same time, Sky and TV group ProSiebenSat.1 renewed their agreement for the distribution of pay-TV channels Sat.1 Emotions and kabel eins classics on the Sky platform.
ProSieben Fun has so far only been available on Unitymedia and Kabel BW's cable networks as well as Deutsche Telekom's IPTV platform Entertain - both in standard resolution and in high definition. The pay-TV spin-off of the free-to-air channel ProSieben, which launched in May 2012, screens blockbuster movies, series, comedy shows, action sports and concerts.
